Alex Polin Has Successfully Implemented Its Special Project - Ukrainian HR Summit 2012

On September 26 – 27, 2012, the Ukrainian HR Summit – considered as a significant platform for the discussion of the most current trends in human resource management, and one of the most anticipated events of the HR community – was held at the capital's Parus Business Centre. The project was organized by the Alex Polin executive recruitment company.

Traditionally, the event was held at the highest level. The busy agenda of the Summit facilitated the exchange of experiences, new ideas and inspiration, while the refined atmosphere during informal communication was conducive to the establishment of business contacts. Hearing stories of successes from outstanding personalities help inspire others to realize their ambitious ideas in professional and personal spheres.

Over the course of the Summit, there was a series of interactive sessions with CEOs and HR directors of different companies that covered the most relevant and interesting subjects.

Highly qualified experts in the field of HR presented informative Summit reports. They shared their practical experience of successful projects and innovative ideas for promoting personnel efficiency.

This year at the Summit, for the first time, a meeting had been organized with a very special guest, Sergey Bubka. Bubka, who is the President of the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine, a six-time world champion in the pole vault, and the owner of 35 world records, shared his vision of work-life balance, experiences in personal development and goal setting.

This year's event was attended by about 210 delegates, of which 80% were HR directors of large companies. Guests left warm reviews of the event.

Galina Voronetskaya, Director of Human Resources of Business Unit CIS of VimpelCom, noted the high level of the Summit. “I really enjoyed the event; all cases were saturated with useful presentations that every HR professional can use in their future work. That is very important. After the Summit, I felt I had met other like-minded professionals who understand their goals. When the people we work with and are responsible for become better, more professional, and happier, then the better the organizations they work for will become.”

Alex Polin Managing Partner and the Ukrainian HR Summit Project Manager Alexander Polyanchuk also commented on the event by saying, “Preparing for the implementation of such a scaling project, we have set ambitious targets for ourselves to hit so that all Summit participants – speakers, delegates, partners and our employees – would get the most out of the event. We tried to make everyone feel comfortable and cozy, and carry away fond memories of meeting colleagues afterwards.

"I am happy to admit that based upon the Summit participants’ feedback we were able to fulfill these planned initiatives. We sincerely thank all those who helped us in the preparation and hosting of the Ukrainian HR Summit 2012, and we wish all the participants and partners new interesting opportunities and creative inspiration.”
