Rankings of the Best Employers in Ukraine Announced

Alex Polin Executive Search Managing Partner Alexander Polyanchuk participated in the ceremony of awarding winners of HR Brand Award 2012, which was held on October 25, 2012, at the InterContinental Hotel in Kiev.

The HR Brand Award is an independent annual award given for the most successful work as an employer. It also signifies a company's success at being recognized as the company with the best reputation among experts, colleagues, clients and applicants. This year the jury had to select the winners from 42 projects presented by 32 companies.

The winners in the four major categories are:
    •  Nomination "Region" - agricultural company “Mriya Agro Holding”,
       metallurgical company “Interpipe”, "EVA" stores chain.
    •  Nomination "Capital" - consulting company “Ernst & Young”, "Sushiya" restaurants chain,
       communication holding “Atlantic Group”.
    •  Nomination "World" - metallurgical company “Interpipe”, automobile holding "Atlant-M", "Foxtrot"
       trade network.
    •  Nomination "Ukraine" - IT-company “SoftServe”, agricultural company "Agro-Soyuz",
       First Ukrainian International Bank.

“When choosing winners, the jury was guided by three main criteria: innovation, relevance and impact,” said Anna Vlasova, a Jury Chairman of the HR Brand Award 2012 as well as the Founding Director of the HRM School and Partner of INSPIRA Strategy Institute. “This year the most distinguished members of the award were companies operating in the IT, metallurgy, agriculture and banking fields.”

A Member of the Jury and the Chief Editor of Human Resources Manager, Nina Lazareva, stated that the HR Brand Award is a project contributing to the development of business in Ukraine. “After all, the employer’s brand value depends on how the company takes care of people, what it can offer for their development and how it rewards and motivates personnel. The main idea of the contest is to determine these exact components in the work of national companies.”

HeadHunter Ukraine CEO Marina Makoviy noted the perspectives of the domestic market and the willingness of Ukrainian projects to represent Ukraine at the international level. She promised that next year the Award ceremony would be even more interesting and impressive. "I am pleased that the nominees find it interesting to compete for the award. They professionalized the HR-field and the market by sharing their knowledge and solutions.”
